The Concurrent Project
You’ve read the 4-Hour Work Week. You’re practicing Getting Things Done. You swear by Gary Vaynerchuk’s “Crush It!” mantra. Yet, everything feels off-balance; you’re still falling behind, still feeling stressed and still feeling like you aren’t giving 100% to anything.
I get it – there’s a lot on your plate: a full-time job, freelance projects (including your startup), hobbies, your social life, and of course, your mental & physical well-being. And while one day you might strike a balance across all of these areas, you need that day to be yesterday.
You need a clone. Alas, science isn’t ready.
Let me to propose an interim solution that has allowed me to build immense capacity: The Concurrent Project.
The objective of The Concurrent Project isn’t to help you create a lot of time only to then hit a bong and stare at a wall. The objective is to increase your per-hour output 5 to 10 times. And in doing so, gain increased time and energy that you can allocate however you wish.
This project is my personal synthesis of 4HWW, GTD, Crush It! and other productivity methods that allow me to consistently bend time. Over the next few months, here on Medium, I’ll endeavour to share a blueprint for somewhat cloning yourself. In exchange…
You must strive to:
- Reject the tyranny of “or”.
- Embrace the genius of “and”.
- Stop half-assing things.
- Believe that there is no better time than right now.
Now let’s get to work.
